Hello to you. A friend of mine in college always would say that with a big emphasis on the you. Bet you didn't know that.
Things are looking, and I am so afraid to say it, good right now. It seems like everytime things look good, a wheel falls off. So far so good for 2005. The single is out and getting spun throughout the state, I don't have an official report yet as far as who specifically, but I've already done interviews with stations in Corpus and one up in Ok. It is Friday, and that is always good news, and tomorrow night (Feb. 26) we are opening for Roger Creager at Midnight Rodeo here in Austin. We are very excited about that. I've been getting a lot of last minute stuff but it has all been great. Hopefully we can get the single charted, please call your local radio station and request it.
I'm going to go enjoy my Friday night. If we miss you in Austin tomorrow, we'll see you in College Station next weekend. Good ol' Uglie's. Enjoy your weekend, I'll let you know how it all went on Monday.

Woah. It's been awhile. It seems that a lot of artists who have these things on their sites tend to start journal entries that way.
Greenfest is this weekend! It is a big festival down in New Braunfels at the River Road Icehouse. I'll be playing an acoustic set starting at seven with Mark Sanders and Ryan Turner. I have never met those guys and look forward to it. I am going to have surly crew with me. It just so happens that Greenfest falls on night two of my bachelor party weekend. My brothers, and cousins, and good friends will all be in tow. We are going to have a ball. Check our Galleywinter.com for details, you need to be there if you can.
"South of the Border" was mailed to radio last week so please let me know if you are hearing it. I'll start getting weekly reports from the promoter letting me know who and where it is getting played, but not until next week. So if you hear it, let me know.
I would be rude not to thank Poodie Locke and all the Locke Entertainment folks for their hospitality last weekend in Spicewood. We were there opening for Mike Graham, who was great. We are meeting and playing with new people left and right and everyone has been wonderfully supportive thus far. We got to sit on Poodie's new bus and that, quite frankly, made the weekend for me.
I hope to see you New Braunfuls. I'll have lots of CDs with me and we'll just be hanging out at RRIH all night. Thanks for supporting and we'll see you soon. Keep an ear out for "South of the Border" and stay up to date with the schedule, we're booking new shows daily.
